Promise for April 2026

Dear Church,

Let us step into this new month with the promise of Joshua 1:5.

“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life… I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.”

This is not just a promise only to Joshua, it is God’s assurance to every believer today. The same God who stood with Moses and led him through impossible situations is standing with you right now.

You may face opposition, uncertainty, or battles that seem bigger than you but remember, your victory is not based on your strength, but on His presence. When God is with you, no situation can overpower you.

In Matthew 27:46, Jesus spoke one of the most painful sayings “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

For the first time, Jesus experienced separation from the Father.

He was always in perfect union with God

But on the cross, He stood in our place

Isaiah 59:2 — “Your sins have separated you from God”

What separated us, fell on Him.

He didn’t just carry sin but He became sin. He experienced a moment of abandonment, so that we can be assured of his constant presence in our lives.

Today, take courage: God is with you in your home. God is with you in your work. God is with you in your battles.

He will never leave you halfway. He will never abandon you in your struggle.

May the Lord be with you, as he was with Moses and Joshua.

What caused fear and worries in you before, will not oppress you anymore.

May your strength rise within you.

May God give you more clarity of what's next in your life.
