Promise for December 2025

Dear Church,

Let's step into this month of December, with this promise from Matthew 1:22-23.

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:

‘The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’).”

— Matthew 1:22–23 NIV

Long before Jesus was born, God had already spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”

— Isaiah 7:14

The birth of Jesus was not an accident, nor a last-minute plan—it was a divine fulfillment of prophecy and the law. In the Old Testament, saints of God experienced him in different dimensions and the named him as El shaddai, El Rohi, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah-Nissi, Jehovah-shammah etc But in the New Testament The wholesome of God is in Jesus and He introduced Him as Emmanuel — God with us.

What Does Emmanuel mean for Us Today?

When we truly experience Jesus as Emmanuel, everything changes.

1. Emmanuel is with us — so loneliness has no place.

His presence fills every empty space. Even in silence, even in struggle, you are never alone.

2. Emmanuel is with us — so no opposition can stand.

If God is with us, who can be against us?

His presence becomes our protection, strength, and confidence.

3. Emmanuel is with us — so He provides.

Every need is seen. Every tear is known. Every prayer is heard.

His presence releases provision.

4. Emmanuel is with us — so healing is our portion.

Where He is, restoration flows. Brokenness cannot stay forever.

He brings healing in spirit, soul, and body.

God Finishes What He Starts

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go… I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

— Genesis 28:15

The God who walks with us is also the God who fulfills His purposes.

Whatever He began in your life, He will bring to completion—this year, in His time, by His power.

For Emmanuel to work freely in our lives, our hearts must be open:

Ready to surrender what He asks

Ready to release what doesn’t align with His will

Ready to change in any area He touches

When we make room for Him, He moves in ways we never imagined.

When we yield ourselves to Him, He fulfills what needs to be fulfilled.

🙏 Let us pray 🙏🏼

Lord Jesus, our Emmanuel, thank You for being with us.

Remove loneliness, fear, and uncertainty from our hearts. Let Your presence guide, provide, heal, and strengthen us. Help us to stay open, humble, and willing to change,

so that every promise You have spoken will be completed in our lives.

Emmanuel, you are with us—throughout this year and always. Amen.

Blessings,

Ps. Sam.
