Promise for July 24
Dear Church,
Let's step into this new month with a promise of God from Psalm 55 22.
Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22
Lay off your burdens in the presence of God. Whatever is bothering you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Do not exhaust yourself by carrying it upon you.
Let us commit our ways and our work in the presence of God.
1. Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.
Proverbs 3:6
in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
If God has already made a way for us, why should we be confused and worried? Let understand His ways and get aligned with his plans in our lives.
2. Proverbs 16:3
Commit your works to the LORD, and your plans will be achieved.
Let us not burden ourselves with the works that consume our time without any results.
May God grant us wisdom to prioritize what is needed in our lives.
If we look at Luke 10:38-42
as an example
[38] Now, as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.
[39] And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.
[40] But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”
[41] But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!
[42] There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Luk.10.38-42.
May God give you the understanding to prioritize so that you can put your house in order.
May God fill your heart with peace in your workplace.
May God fill your home with the joy. Let your joy be greater than the worries that you have.
May God bless the work of your hands and multiply what you have.
May God's protection be upon you and your children as you go out and come in.
May God help you to see miracles in the areas that you are awaiting.
Let's live a worry-free life since He cares about us.
Blessings,
Pastor.
